Performance Teams
Performance opportunities are offered to students from 4yrs and up. Our 6/u team has a special class to prepare them for stage and competition. Junior and senior teams are trained in singing, musical theatre, stretch and technique and performance classes. Students must take a minimum of three styles as well as the performance stream. Team members will compete in regional and national competitions throughout the year as well as corporate events and an end of year production.
RAD Classical Ballet
With over 13,000 members spread across 89 countries, The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world. The RAD is based in the UK and students are offered excellent training and accredited examinations in our studio. Ages 3 – Advanced Levels
Commercial Jazz
Open commercial jazz is an advanced class for professional level dancers. Weekly combos are taught by different choreographers at a fast pace. A great class for dancers at a pre professional level or for those who are home between contracts.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is an essential style of the modern dance world. Our instructors are authentic and world class in this genre. Junior and senior classes are available to all aspiring dancers.
Contemporary
Junior and senior level contemporary classes are offered to all students. With a strong focus on ballet and lyrical techniques, our contemporary classes provide students with an understanding of how diverse this style can be.
Musical Theatre
Musical theatre classes are a combination of dancing, singing and acting. Students are taught a variety of musical theatre from old Broadway to the most current musicals of today.
Tap
Tap dance originated in the USA as a cross between African and Irish American dance forms. Tap is a unique style of dance involving specific and rapid footwork. The dancer’s foot and shoe essentially act as a drum, and each part of the shoe makes a particular beat and sound. We train our dancers to be versatile and highly recommend tap classes.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and modern jazz movements with a strong focus on dancing to the lyrics in the music. Dancers need strong technique and knowledge of ballet to execute this style correctly. Classes are offered from 7 yrs and up.
